Athletic Physicals will be held in the Langham Creek High School Gym starting at 2:00 pm for students who want to participate in the Aragon MS Athletics program for the 2026-2027 school year. Walk-Ins are welcome. There is a $20 fee, cash or money order only.

Chick-fil-A Adopted Aragon Middle School

Johnathan Heefner, Aragon Middle School principal, third from right; and The Chick-fil-A cow hold commemorative Adopt-a-School certificates as the campus and community partner announced on Jan. 22 that they officially entered into an adoption partnership. They were joined by Dawn Tryon, CFISD director of community engagement, left center; Sydnea Rutland, Chick-fil-A Copperfield owner/operator, right center; and Aragon administration and staff.

Representatives from Chick-fil-A Copperfield visited the staff at Aragon Middle School on Jan. 22 to officially announce their Adopt-a-School partnership with the campus.

CFISD’s Adopt-a-School program pairs schools with community organizations and business partners to utilize community resources to strengthen and enrich the quality of education for students.

Johnathan Heefner, Aragon principal, shared his appreciation for Chick-fil-A Copperfield adopting the campus.

“We are incredibly excited for the Aragon community to partner with such an iconic, service-minded business right here in our neighborhood,” Heefner said. “We are grateful to Sydnea Rutland and the Copperfield Chick-fil-A team as well as Dawn Tryon and CFISD community engagement for making this partnership possible. Together, we look forward to building meaningful opportunities that support our students, families and the greater Aragon community as we work toward a brighter future.”

12th Superintendent’s Fun Run raises $95,000 for student scholarships

April 2, 2026—CFISD staff, students, community members and business partners gathered at the Berry Center and Cy-Fair FCU Stadium for the 12th Superintendent’s Fun Run on March 28. The fundraiser concluded with CFISD and Memorial Hermann Cypress Hospital representatives presenting a check worth $95,000 to the Cy-Fair Educational Foundation (CFEF).
